What got you started?

In 1995 I was in high school and playing stand up bass in the orchestra. Then one day I was in downtown Seattle and saw a green hearse (looking back I imagine it was late 1970's/early 1980's Caddy). I told the my friend since he wanted a bass friendly car, his folks said no way! Fast forward several years and I was working in an auto glass shop. Never worked on a hearse, but became fascinated by the unique glass in the coaches. Fast forward to the present and I now have a car collection of my own of various makes and models and kind of on a whim bought a 1967 Cadillac Crown Superior Landeau, which turned out to be more work than I had time, money, and skills to fix. So I sold that on (it was also white) and now I kind of knew what I wanted. I wanted a full size frame, not white, and classic looking. I ended up with a 1969 MM with all chrome bumpers (no black rub strips!) endloader with 44,000 miles!
