Ford, Lincoln, & Mercury Pro-Cars

The red Zepher Ambulance at the AACA Museum was once a part of the Fred Hunter collection in Hollywood, Florida. The coach bulder is belived to be unknown.

I note that some of the photos of Weller-built cars here are from my collection. They will also appear in the book that Walt McCall and I will have available in early April.

Dr Roger D White

don't have a clue were I got it from but do I have to buy the book to find out the year?? I for one am vary glad there are a bunch of you people that have collected these pictures and are willing to share them. :thumb: here are a couple more Seaberts

Yes, it is a '39 Chrysler - not a FoMoCo product. Seeing the '30-'40 schtuff in this thread made me remember this oddball however.

For sale a year ago in Mexico. Never had any success finding background info about this behemoth. Can anyone provide insight about coach builder or production figures? My best (uneducated) guess is Proter-Keefe, although I admittedly know nothing about limos.

Neat period piece. Can't imagine more than a few were made or that a couple remain.

This thread got me wondering, this is certainly a Cadillac dominated club, for obvious and understandable reasons, so who has the largest collection of FoMoCo chassied professional cars?

I'll submit myself as contestant #1, with four FoMoCo pro-car products.

Since they haven't posted them, I figured I would. Hope you guys don't mind. Matthew Taylor's 66 National Ford Ambulance, and Adam Borkat's 69 Abbott & Hast Ford Hearse.

"What u got?"

I suppose I should have seen that question coming, Josh! In response, my Ford products are:

1977 homebuilt Lincoln hearse from Puerto Rico
1977 Mercury hearse by Sharpe Conversions
1979 Lincoln flower car, currently of unknown origins

and, my new toy, acquired just last month...

1975 Lincoln limousine by Sharpe Conversions, the only limousine they ever built.

Fords and Lincolns

I now own 2 Lincolns and the '66 National Ford Ambulance. I also own a '74 Ford Fire Truck - does that count?

Two more Siebert ambulances. 1936 and 1942 Fords.

Adam, what's that boxy thing behind the '67 Colony Park conversion?

I have no idea. I was hoping someone on here who's "in the business" might know. I'm hoping to talk to Ron soon, so I can see if he remembers...

Here's an enhanced image of it. I used to think the wheels on either end were part of the box, but it looks now like a strecher sittin on end behind it more than anything I recognize. I also assume the silver pieces on the left and right side are folding doors or lids.
