With two Cadillacs and a Chrysler, the funeral home shown was replaced by a new facility in the 1960's, with black-over-white limousine-style Caddy/Superior combos. While ambulance service went away in the mid-'60's, they remain in business. The founder was a member of the committee that helped develop North Carolina's EMS system.
