Saw some old posts about weather stripping. Does anyone still have rubber for a 72 superior or suggestions on what or where to get. Need to do entire car. Thanks
that would be caddy stock or standard GM stuff the key would be finding some one to sell it to you by the foot. the 73 S&S used the same stuff. I would try Rubber the Right way tell then ED sent you and if you buy enough you get a free T. but really just shop around and see who is buying it from whom. it will run you around 4 bucks a ft. rubber the right way, Steel rubber or Metro are the ones that pop in mind. but your restoration people like restoration specialties some times have a good price on stuff. the profile Mike put up is the one the older superiors need. I was buying it for 80 bucks for 50 ft when I went looking for it. my 53 Pontiac takes the same stuff. but to compare it you need to cut a slice out of what you have. the best place is normal the back side of the door between the lock and the top. seams to be the only place that doesn't get pushed out of shape.
