Half ton Chevy trucks prior to 1971 all had 6 lug wheels. In 71 they switched to disc brakes and 5 lug wheels.

guess I never payed any attention. had a 67 and a 71. remember that disks were optional in 70 standard in 71. 6 holes on a 4x4. this one has drum brakes on it. I have done enough on these bodies to like them. they have a real nice fit. now if I can only remember what I know. most of what is around here are the 4x4 not a lot of use for a 2 wheeler on the ranch. still have a hard time with one with a automatic in it. keep hurting my foot going for the clutch, braking open a knuckle reaching for the shifter. but I'll get use to it.
