Tony Karsnia - Deceased - 1971-2020
September 12, 1971 - November 2, 2020
We've been very blessed over the past 20 years or so with mild winters here in Minnesota. This year, however, is much like I remember as a kid; SNOW and lots of it. COLD and lots of it, too.
34+ inches of snow for the season so far, and much of that came just last weekend. Took these photos the other day following an interment at Elmhurst Cemetery in St. Paul to give you an idea just how much snow is on the ground here. A little less in some places, a little more in others, large piles nearly everywhere, but a pretty accurate view nonetheless.
As for our Eagle Lincoln, which is rear-wheel-drive, it has done super in the snow, with the exception of last Saturday, when nothing that low to the ground - regardless of how many-wheel-drive - was barely able to move! This car handles much better in the snow than did our '98 Eagle Cadillac front-wheel-drive.
