No way is it a 1251 mile car! It may very well be a 101,251 mile car! The front seat alone tells you that his claim is not correct. Not a bad limo though and probably worth close to what he is asking.
All I can say is my 67 four door convertible made many a trip from Pa. to the Florida Keys in the 80s sometimes pulling a 17 foot boat and it turned in a consistent 12 to 14 MPG. Now my 69 Lemann Peterson limo (wish I had it now) with then a 460 not 462 they changed in 1968 did 9 to 13 MPG but it was HEAVY.
