We are offering the following:

Starting with Tuesday, July 27;
Lake George – The area around the Village of Lake George is alive with events, cruise ships, mini-golf, wax museum, shopping, and the famous Fort Wm. Henry Historic Museum. (We are planning a two hour luncheon cruise on Lake George aboard the LacDuSaint Sacrament. Following the cruise you are free to tour Fort William Henry or to peruse the down town area of the Village. The area around the Village of Lake George is alive with events, mini-golf, wax museums, shopping.

On Wednesday, July 28 ;
Saratoga - Saratoga is world know for its flat track; horse racing, the sport of kings. On Wednesday, July 28 we can count on the best in thoroughbred racing set against a backdrop of unmatched charm, ambiance – and fun!

Thursday, July 29;
Albany – down town home of the State Museum – The Museum features the 25,000 square-foot “Windows on New York” exhibition with a historic working carousel. Visitors also can see the nation’s first permanent museum exhibition of artifacts documenting the 9-11 World Trade Center attack and the events that followed. A walk-in Iroquois long-house and New York City subway car are just some of the favorites of all ages. There is also the State Capital & the Gov. Nelson Rockefeller Empire State Plaza – Setting majestically atop Albany’s State Street hill, the New York State Capitol building is a marvel of the late 19th century architectural grandeur. One of the most spectacular capitol centers in the country. There is also the Show in the Park – Albany Alive at Five, outdoor summer concert series or the Slater (the only restored World War II Destroyer Escort afloat in America!).

Friday, July 30;
Hudson – Fireman’s museum - The FASNY Museum of Firefighting with one of the nation’s largest collections of fire fighting memorabilia and apparatus including a professional car! We have made arrangements to be met on the way by the local county sheriff who would lead us in a parade that of course would need to be lights and sirens.

Saturday, July 31:

Car show and dinner..

The Hotel is the Best Western Albany Airport Inn located on Wolf Road, Albany. The hotel is offering us $90/night, which includes breakfast. The parking lot for our use is next to the hotel on the side that the hospitality room is located. There is a door that opens form the room to the lot. The hotel is also about a mile from the Albany International Airport. Free transportation is offered to and from the hotel and the airport, local shopping areas and restaurants. For reservations call 518-458-1000 or 1-800-458-1016 make sure you tell them that you are with the Professional Car Society.

We recommend that you do not linger in making your reservations with the hotel as at this price they may fill up fairly quickly.

I questioned as to weather I should post this on the members only forum but decided that I would like to make it available to all. Hopefully it might entice someone to join the Society to be able to register for the Albany meet.

Wednesday July 28
9:00 to 11:00 – Board meeting
11:30 leave for Saratoga
1:00 to 4:45 – Saratoga Race Flat Tack

Thursday
1:00 to 4:00 – downtown (State Museum, Capital, Cathedral, etc.)
5:00 to 8:00 – Alive at 5 Concert

Friday
9:00 to 11:00 – Membership meeting
1:00 leave for Hudson
2:00 parade to Hudson from county line
3:00 to 5:00 Firemen’s Museum
5:00 chicken barbeque

Saturday
9:00 to 3:00 or so - show
6:00 to 7:00 - Happy Hour
7:00 to 9:00 - Banquet
9:30 to 9:40 - Sound and light show
