Default Mecum 2015

I drove for MECUM last Friday and Saturday getting my hands on 44 cars. Man what a grand couple of days looking forward to this Tuesday and the upcoming Saturday.

Not sure what that Chevy went for or this Caddy. The Caddy was about as close of a thing to a Pro-Car there. The Lincoln did have a 460 with only 17,000 miles. A collector had about a dozen mid-70's Lincoln's and Cadillac's with low miles. One Lincoln had only 180 miles on it. Wow!!!

1976 Cadillac Castilian wagon reached a high bid of $16,000 and did not sell.

The 460 is the only engine available for a 1972-76 Mark IV.

In 1977 it became an option for the Mark V with the 400 being standard.

Personally, I think the 460 is overrated. It gets much worse gas mileage while not offering much more performance. Although it is a little quieter.

My 2 Mark V's with 400 would burn rubber. My Mark IV with 460 will not.
