Default Masterpiece Side View Mirrors

Question:
Why do some of the S&S Masterpieces have the stock Cadillac style side view mirrors(like my coach in gold), and some have the "standing" GM mirrors mounted further back on the doors(like the black one)??

Very easy the stand up mirrors are the 93,94 model years and the wings are 95,96. The 95,96 were a big improvement as you can see more doing to them being larger. Mirrors interchange with Caprice and Roadmaster and are available aftermarket.
