Its getting there...two small welds to be completed in the filler neck for the fuel tank, then I can start it and run it under its own power.

I might get forced into one of the electric wipers on this 53. i can't seam to find a replacement cable for it. polish the wheel covers and put them on and the car will be a rat rod for a bit. don't forget to keep you old set and swap them out for when you get to doing the rest of the work. nothing harder then that oops over spray to get back off

I have a set of 4 NOS dogdish caps for I got on ebay a while back. Exactly the same pattern as was on the car. They are mint mint MINT. :)

now your starting to brag. no since in rubbing it in. some of us are still looking for them or the correct red to paint the ones I have.

Sorry, didn't mean to come off as bragging. Heres a pic if you can use it to get the color. Depending on your monitor settings I suppose. The picture on my monitor is about spot on with the real thing held up beside it to compare.

I left off the smilly face on that one sorry brag all you can who els has one of them? 53 54 used the same one, if you get a chance to take it buy a DuPont store and can match the red color please do so. they have a book of solid chips that you can flip threw and compare. then get it mixed in there fleet service line. all I would need is the number. I think I saw that set but I have two sets here all ready that just need the centers painted. glad you got them. the pon people out in calf at pontiacparts.net our one place to check prices with when you get stuff. he does a fairly good job of keeping stuff in stock. I still haven't gotten the sedan delivery vers standard vers wagon straight. on some things. they just forget that pon made the sedan delivery. surprisingly enough the chevy stuff is different most of the time.

that would help a lot I have one with just a scrap left on it. though the red with the green I'm thinking of painting it does stand out rather loud. I think I can cross it with any other paint type if there is not a DuPont store, or they don't have the commercial color chip book. what size tires did you get? the 57 had 670x15 on it. so 700x15 are the same size.

I went with Coker radials, P215/75R15 with a 2 3/4" wide white. Its as close a match to the 7.10's as you can get so Cokers web site says.
