Made it up to rapid for my veterans group. We had a good session. Then things went down from there.
Took the ECM i got off Amazon out to the chevy dealer that has the Montie. They were to call me a couple weeks ago when they could get it in to put that one in the car while we waited for the original to come back from the rebuilder. I got informed today that the rebuilder had contacted them and stated there was nothing wrong with the original ECM. So we spent 600 bucks on there word for a spair. I hate dealerships.
So as long as we were out there we swing over to see what the shop found out on the tranny for the 64. It's not repairable every piece of steel in there is badly rusted and the aluminum is so corrosive to the point it's a guestion if it would clean up or not. They have one they may be able to piece togather. My buddys at A&A have a few they want 500 each for. Plus 250 core charge. I have bought cars with one of them for less. More shopping to do.
