Coach used for Marlene Dietrich's funeral

done by a European shop.......no flower deck, but a raised area for the casket which is typical for European coaches.........?

That's the 1966 Cadillac Laffettenwagen or ceremonal carriage that was built by Germany's Bremen-based Conrad Pollmann for Greineisen Funeral Home in Brelin. There is a well-illustrated, two page article on this car in TPC #153 starting on page 53. The TPC story notes that the car was used fior Marlene Dietrich's funeral. You'll know it's the same car because: A. There was only one ever built and B. Because the license plate numbers on the car in the filem and the car illustrated in TPC are the same. Thanks for some "real" images of this rare and unusual Cadillac.
