Default 76 Crown 3-Way In Tuscon Az $800

Listed on Tucson Craigslist. NOT MINE!

Quote:
I bought this 1976 Cadillac Hearse a few years ago, but have not had time to deal with it. The engine runs great, and I drove it around a few times, but I need to sell it because I'm moving.

This car would be a great vehicle to retrofit to haul anything you need, or to be restored. Or for a demo derby car!

This car had the 500 engine.

Look at the pictures, the body is ok, but does have a couple of rusty spots, but nothing hugely major is wrong. No major dents.

Known problems:

1. No key and no title. I bought this at a salvage auction, and the morons gave me the wrong title, unknown to me. It was a car that was towed in off the street, so no keys. It does start up without the key though. By the time I got around to licensing it, the salvage company had changed hands, and they were like "tough luck" when I realized the VIN number on the car didn't match the title they gave me! $150 to do the "bonded title" and get it fixed.

2. Interior was restored by someone at some point. It needs redone or just ripped out.

3. Gas tank leaks. It looks like someone tried to fix it, but failed.

Other than those problems, nothing major is wrong with the car. It runs very well. Battery is dead at this point, so you'll need a new battery.

If you have questions, CALL ME, don't text. A 2 minute phone call is easier than 30 minutes of texting. If it is still listed, I still have it.

Mighty fishy story on the wrong title and missing keys, in my opinion. The fact that it is a Crown 3-way is about all it has going for it. Otherwise, it would be just another parts car.

Well worth the $800 plus shipping costs, just in parts. Too rough to restore, especially given title issues. Probably a $400 back bumper!

It would be interesting to run the VIN and see if the car has been recently registered and under what name. If do, make contact with them and ask what kind of car they registered.Could be that you have their title and they have yours.....
