You tube video of Sireno J18, 6 volt in action

Hey everyone, to those who are into the old mechanical sirens and hearing them whale. I took 30 minutes today to drive around central Jersey to find a secluded area (not an easy task around here anymore) to make a descriptive video of my Sireno J18 and let it whale. First I made a long video describing the siren and all the information I have compiled about it so far then turned it on. Afterwards I made a short video where I basically just let it whale. Enjoy the video's any comment's, knowledge or possible year for this siren I'd love to hear it. (Were currently pretty sure 1930's at this point (but not fully verified). However the number 138 2 are stamped into the metal and I strongly feel that mean's sometime 1938 again not verified. Thank's enjoy!

The motor is a late Autolite MBB, early sixties. The siren model is J-1-8, not J18. Later models (1965-85) were fitted with perforated steel grilles. For many of it later years Sireno tried to mirror Federal's product line. The J-1-8 series corresponded to Federal's Class 60 sirens.
