Default 1960 Eureka Sconce Alternative?

I found a pair of these that I think could work. I dont have interior landau panels or sconces, so maybe these replace them.
I would cut off the top but maybe the extra stuff is more interesting.
Do you think I should chome them or paint black/silver? they have house wires, but i plan on changing everything to 12v of course.

Here is what the original looked like

Any ideas, or does someone who has eureka sconces ready to sell me?

Not sure I would cut them off. Looks very gothic like they are.

I would guess that it's a light on the Eureka. do some checking in he locale hardware store. bet you can find a closer one there.

Looks like you have a couple of good choices, Nicholas. The sconces you have look great, but if they're heavy you'd need to consider if there's enough support for them. You also might want to check w/ Tom Hoczyk to see if his '60 Eureka has the same sconces as your factory photo.
