Default Siren ??

Can I use this mount with out the spacer block. This is a Q mount correct? Will everything clear or does it need to be forward. Inside pic of the brace in place , I assume this is all that is need for reinforcement ? Or would I be better off with another type of siren or just leave it as is. Thanks

If you have the brace available I'd use it. Here's a picture of the brace that was under the roof of a '69 Pontiac parts car I had many years ago.

A Q is pretty heavy and when you crank it up there's torque applied to the mounting points. As well, the brace will help prevent roof vibration somewhat.

Thanks for all the pics Dan. Interesting how similar the Criterion and 54XL interiors are.

Coming along nicely.

Let me know if there are specific pieces of equipment you might be looking for as I might have them. I have duplicates of most of the gear I had in my Lifeliner.
