Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in these post-war Packard coaches that are in need of a full restoration. That lack of interest within our ranks makes them vulnerable to these idiots that would do such things.

This '51 Packard senior ambulance has been for sale here in my area for quite some time with, apparently, no takers. Looks to be a very deserving project.

hey steve, theres idiots everywhere. don't feel to bad. I know of a 59 superior made into a 4 wheel drive and ive tried to buy it but 15k aint gonna get it. and he has the old frame and motor but what can you do. he thinks he bettered the car because he doesn't know the real deal and im not gonna tell him as I left a offer of 5k and he can have the wheels back as he thinks they are a big selling point. I did get the hubcaps for nothing though and they aren't goin anywhere. interior is intact but he said he had plans for that and I told him no deal if he removes interior. his wife wants it gone so I have a chance.

a good body there. if yours is rusty and missing the trim this would be a good buy just for the body. then re sell the chassis to the kid down the street. you look at the pictures and they did not cut it up any. it even has both the year only headlight bezels
