Default 1953 Acme Pontiac service car

1953 Pontiac RARE!!! (Michigan)

1953 Pontiac Ambulance/Hearse
This vehicle is EXTREMELY rare
43k Miles on original engine and Trans
Flat straight 8 motor with 3 speed transmission
Original single barrel carburetor
All fluids were drained before storage

This delivery vehicle was 1 of 88 produced by the Acme Motor Co
There were only 2 vehicles made by this company known to exist in
in the world. This one is number 3

The engine still turns and is only in need of a starter and battery to run
For its age it is still in good condition. I have most parts for it.
The parts for this vehicle are interchangeable with the Chieftain

Call to schedule an appointment.

yes it has surfaced once again this time with different fenders on it. get it and the one in washington and you can have a 53 acme service car not a bad interior in back either. more then enough for patterns. here is the first pictures I have of it unless there are two out there. and a few interior shots.

I don't know, Ed. Are you saying that you think it is the same car? I think it is a different car altogether. According to the seller that would make two of the three in existence.

I would say that Ed's photos were the earliest set of photos. They took the original black fenders off, for some reason. Also, the side door rust has been painted over in the current listing.
