Rough, but doesn't look too rusty.

This hearse is a true East Tennessee barn find that I've had my eye on for about three years and just finally talked the man out of it. The problem is in that time I bought a '68 that I am almost done with and don't need this one now. This car from what I have found on the internet is a fairly rare Miller Meteor Citation Landau which was the top of the line model for that time. I do have the car running and the motor sounds good with the exception of an exhaust leak. I replaced the fuel pump and rebuilt the carburetor but it is currently running off of a small gas can as the gas tank and lines still need to be cleaned or replaced. I have only driven it a short distance around my neighborhood but the Turbo 400 trans seems to work fine as do the brakes and steering. As you can see I removed the rotten carpet to reveal that the floors are solid as is the rest of the car. It appears to have a couple of rust holes behind the rocker molding but nothing serious. Luckily this hearse had the textured top instead of vinyl which greatly helped with it being so solid. The interior is original and in pretty decent shape. The dash believe it or not is perfect without a single crack as is all of the glass. I also installed a new set of Michelin whitewall radials because I don't think it is going to take much more to make this car a great driver. The 472 engine is all original and the A/C is in tact and still hooked up. Thanks for looking and good luck !!

selling a 69 that needs a complete redo unless your into the ratty car thing. the first generation 742 is quite the engine. but it going at a realistic price.

Citations are a thing of glory when they are in nice condition. Top of the line MM at the time.

I had a '68 and LOVED IT !

472 are smogless at that time too !
