This thread is only for posting pictures of Commercial Chassis wheels that you are certain of the application. If you have measurements, please post them with the picture. Thanks Paul
OK the 3 rivets and it's for a disk wheel is easy to see but the only way to Id the wheel is the stamp on the front. here is the one off my 72 Seville. now this is the spare so I know it the original wheel it still has the 890x15 US Royal tire on it. it welded standard wheel on the the short wheel base car. but here is the stamp you need to look for to compare wheels. same stamp. same offset, bolt pattern. and same style wheel.
I'm guessing that's what we need to find out. I'm under the impression from what I Have been told the stamp Identified the wheel. every wheel in that set that was the same sixe load rating and offset would have te same stamp. my 68 is right now stored in a different location s I'll check it this afternoon. it to me should have the same wheel as this 69 and would be stamped the same.
the variation I have found so far is the 72 Seville it has the gray none painted gm wheel and the 890x15 load rating d tires as the 69 and my other 72 had but only the spot welded wheel. I'm guessing they did not want to pay the difference is they were the standard wheel base but that's only a guess. to me the standard set would have been easier to keep track of and cheaper in the long run. here is the back of the 72 Seville
the last car I have here is the 58 Eureka. I can't find any stamp mark on any of the wheels on it. the spare still has a 890 x 15 on it to. these had the hole in them like the 63 does
