warning light solution

Visited a dealer this week who came up with an ingenious idea. Not only does he not visually enjoy seeing lights on top of a new hearse, different states mandate different colors for funeral processions (learn something new ever day). Added that on more than one occasion changing beacons resulted in tearing vinyl top and more $$$$$ before coach could be sold.

Strobes behind grilles are commonplace. He took idea one step further to appease 360 degree visibility by having side door LED strobe mounts made while having LED strobes inset into both front and rear bumpers. Doing so also incorporates less cost to change color.

Pretty slick really. What do FDs think of the idea (and not the coach they happen to be on)?

Look closely and rear bumper LED rectangular inset can be seen.

I saw one recently on the web that had the strobes under the nameplate in the side window and a light shining on the nameplate, looked pretty undignified.
Not only do different states mandate light color (as Atti mentioned), but cities have their own laws regarding color, headlight flashers, beacons and strobes.
