Merely relaying information for members within a couple hour drive that may want to attend for the day. 30-35 coaches are expected, more than that amount have RSVP'd. Numerous classes with trophies awarded. Sounds like this will be a good time!!!

Kent - you're close enough to bring one than more coach out. If you do go, I hear that black over white '77 Superior will be in attendance. Owner lives in Marion.

Cary

PM sent on the hearse model. :)

The one I built as a kid melted in 2011 after the Hudson meet.

I need to build another one to fill the spot of that one.
It sat on the same shelf for 31 years. ;)

What are the S&S items on and next to the Black Book?
Without doing deep research......off the top of my head I think they are 69-70 only rear quarter emblem for S&S funeral coaches.maybe ambulances and possibly used another year or 2. They were normally lost when coaches were repainted over the years.

There's so much still for me to learn about these cars, it's about all I can do to sit here and absorb the wealth of knowledge from everyone that is posted every day.

Very respectable turnout day before meet, 19 coaches and 31 people. Several more expected today although weather has factored in to others skipping out. Not bad for an inaugural event one bit!

Of course pics will follow. :D

I will have 2 procars at this event ! One hearse and one ambulance !

They will be 1.25 scale but they will be there.

Thanks Cary for the new cars.

I would have liked to have been there myself but getting there would have been a real long drive or a few flights each way.

Enjoy the meet !

Darren

I see the right front corner of a lite blue 1973 Cadillac in Atti's pic! I would assume this is Josh Horton's 73 M-M and that its been repaired right? I also see a couple Cox cars mid picture as well! So know a few cars and a few more folk that's there!

Overviews. If "Thanks" button goes high enough I'll post individual coach pics of all in attendance...and other fun captures.

Not all coaches are shown in shots below.

I managed to do all 3 days of this event to some degree. On Saturday my wife even came along and it's RARE that she does any car stuff with me anymore. We both had a great time......met up with some people that have I've known for years and made some new friends. As with any gathering of this type.....it was about the cars.....and great conversation. I've heard rumor that this is going to happen again next year....I am looking forward to it already. Thanks to the people behind putting this together. :applause:

Glad I finally got to talk to you in person. Thomas is more than glad. He couldn't be happier. He wants to show everybody what he got or let them hear.
