A Fun Weekend

I just got back from Central Washington in the high desert country and a joint meet with the Lincoln & Continental Owners Club and EVOOA. Besides the lovely Lincolns and the plethora of retired Police Cars, we also had a Lincoln Hearse, a 67 Pontiac Superior Ambulance and a 1957 Chevrolet National Ambulance. Both the Pontiac and the National ae owned by former PCS member Fraser Field of Mission, BC, Canada. We even got to do a 3 mile code 3 run and after dinner last night, we gathered at the Ellensburg WA City hall and were joined in a half hour Light show by the Ellensburg PD and Kittitas County Sherrif's Dept. Most of us had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend except for Fraser. Yesterday morning, the 57 Chevy had to make an emergency trip to the Muffler shop when his exhaust broke. Our meet host arranged for the owner of the shop to open the closed for the day shop to help Fraser. Then this morning, the Pontiacs starter gave out. This resulted in a call to NAPA for a starter, a call to AAA for a tow and a service station that could install it!......Also on the weekend agenda was discussions with John Bujosa of EVOOA rearding a joint PNW PCS Chapter event and EVOOA event in July or August of 2011 in Post Falls Idaho. More info will come as plans are made.
