any one with a Ida who converted it to the town car?

You could order a Series 75 or Series 90 Town Car in '39.
but who did the conversion? you could get a fleet wood 75 in the Deville FWD chassis in 86 but GM did not do the conversion. H&E did, GM farmed out there Special orders. this one looks to me to me a Derum. yes they were ordered threw GM dealers and sold as factory units but GM only built the incomplete car.
