1987 Eureka Fuel tank

I need to replace the fuel tank and sending unit on the 87 Eureka before I leave for Mansfield in a few weeks. I'm hoping that it is a Cadillac deville gas tank and nothing special ??

does any one know for sure ???????

According to the Cadillac Parts book, in 1986, there are 2 used... 1st design and 2nd design. The unit should be tagged HEF for the first design, and CPA for the second design. There is no serial number break for when the change occurred. The tanks are the same from 1985 through 1988.

1st design = 25092972
2nd design = 25092484

paul are you talking about the sending unit have 2 designs or the tank ?
