Dallas, Texas Postcard "LAMAR-SMITH FUNERAL HOME" w/ Hearses

Peter...you are right. Forties they all are. From left to right we have a pair of '46-'48 S&S Cadillacs, then there's a 22nd Series Henney-Packard, at the head of that row we see a 1949 S&S Cadillac Knickerbocker combination car. The '47-'48 Chevy in the driveway could be a Weller, Barnette a National or one of the other second-tier builders while there appears to be a '42 Ford - not obviously a Siebert - perhaps a converted sedan delivery - behind that. Thanks for posting this fascinating image.

The car on the left looks like a '47-ish Superior/Pontiac.

Lamar and Smith

They were a power house firm into the early 1960s. Restland came into existence in the late 50s and really hurt the local neighborhood funeral homes.
