Lightbulb Interior lights 1958 Cadillac Imperial Sedan Limo question.

I am sorting out the interior lights in my Limo. So far the when the front door is opened, the map light above the radio goes on, only. Are there other lights that should go on at the same time?

The dome light, which I have been told is a chauffeur's light only comes on with the switch beside it. Correct?

The rear (passenger) compartment dome light, and the lights in the bottom of the doors come on when either rear door is opened.

The rear lights on each side of the upper part of the ceiling come on when a slide switch by each door is activated. This switch seems to have three posistions. 1) bottom= off, 2) Middle = ?, 3) Up = On.

I sure would appreciate some help here, a link, a diagram. The lights are working, but it would be fun to get them working like they should.

Thanks, Bill

the middle position on the rear switch should let those upper lights come on when the door is open.

Thanks ED!

Why do the upper light bulbs have two contacts on the base?
