As mentioned early last month in Pontiac thread. Same coach Steve Loftin shot in '74!

Interesting....I read the previous thread about this car and mention was made of the another 58 Memphian owned (or formally) by Gene Griffith so I ran to my old fashioned photo albums ( which I need to scan someday). I remember Genes 58 as being a factory TriPower car with a 3 on the tree! But...here we go again with "Amazing Procar Discoveries" Notice the differences between the CL car and Genes 58.......hmmph:cool:

Gene still has that car. It was used along with hi 1949 Fleetwood 75 and my 56 Cadillac in "The Killer Inside Me" that was filmed here in Oklahoma a couple years ago.

This car is a Barnett, with an automatic, originally owned by the Kelley F.H. in Eufaula, OK:

This firm has a '57 S/P combination that is in the process of being restored.

Tom McPherson and Walt McCall met with Gene Griffith last week in Tulsa and viewed his collection. His 1958 Pontiac is a Barnette and is not for sale. According to Tom, the car is straight and clean. Gene also reportedly also has a 1950 Barnette Chevrolet combination car, a 1941 Meteor Cadillac Cathedral, a 1964 Miller-Meteor flower car, a 1949 Cadillac Series 75 and a 1938 S&S LaSalle carved coach in his collection. Tom said there was also a 1938 Chevrolet, a 1950 Chevrolet, a Ford Model T touring car and a 1958 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 60 Special in Gene's storage garage. While dusty, they all looked pretty good from what I'm told and none are for sale.
