Digger & Darren's Micro-Meet Diorama Photos

Here are a few photos of the diorama we created for the 2012 Micro-Meet.

It is a small town church and cemetery with a funeral happening at each.
There is also a grave being dug in the cemetery awaiting Digger driving her vault truck with 3 Baker Vaults on board.

We had a lot of fun making it and appreciate all the great comments we received at the meet.

Thanks again to everyone who talked to us about the display.

Enjoy,
Darren

Dontcha mean Die-O-Rama? LOL

What a great creation! You two did an amazing job on this. Especially Jen's Vault-Mobile. - Walt

Seeing this entry was worth the trip to the meet alone. It was obvious Digger and Darren put hours and hours of thought and effort into this in order to create the realism.

GREAT JOB! Hope to see it again next year...will you be adding an additional section each year for enticement?

busy busy buys is all I can say. digging a new hole ,planting one, one coming out with three more to go that day. WOW must be a large mass casualty incident. I glad they had the resources to do all of that on the 2 x 4 layout. as typical traffic just whizzing by on the highway ignored or unsympathetic of the tragedy. good job on it. a lot of neat stuff crammed it to that diorama

Digger & Darren, you two have way too much time on your hands, THANKFULLY! Digger, Peter especially enjoyed the vault truck and the lowering device! :smileflagcan::smileflagcan:

Busy,Busy!

I agree with Ed... you have a funeral leaving the church and a graveside service next door...wow.. somebody's busy! Kinda reminds me of working at the cemetery a few years ago. It seemed like every funeral was a 10 o'clock service, and I couldn't leave for lunch until the casket was down.It would be after 12:30 or 1 when I finally left for lunch, and I was starving by then. Our funeral home's motto is "Hometown friends you can rely on." I think it should be "....famous for our 10 o'clock funeral!!" Can anyone in the funeral business relate??
