1871 Rock Falls Horse Drawn Hearse Returns Home

Now that is funeral service at it's finest! What a beautiful tribute to a man who's care and skill greatly contributed to the ongoing preservation of a 141 year-old hearse. Having been privy to the acquisition and restoration of this coach, as well as Mr. Sharp's pending death, I think the timing and circumstances leading to his being taken to his place of rest in this coach are absolutely amazing. Every day, we encourage and assist families in planning funeral and memorial ceremonies that are meaningful. This is a superb example of a meaningful funeral.

Its always nice to see a GOOD story in the paper about a hearse without it turning to a ghouled up article.
