Bill had a man put in a new battery in the 92 when he went down to got it. like most cars when the battery got removed swapped or exchanged who knows when, the hold down went missing. lucky I had the a extra form the tire blow out on the 87. I went to put it in yesterday and discovered that the 78 series battery did not fit the car. it was to big for the space and no way to put the hold down on. so I had to go with a 78 series Delco. it was just a 1/4 inch smaller but thats what it took to drop into the hole and fit in the space. the good news is I now have a new battery we can use for something else. we finely got the engine room cleaned on the 92. just need to repaint were the salt ate the steel under there.
