Federal 17-D @ OH antique mall

Same place (different vendor) that I found brochures at. Contact them unless you can't read all the tag information needed, in which case I'll provide it larger. Their policy involves firm pricing under $100. 10% taken off over that amount when asked.

Random nameplate also found there, again different vendor space.

Omg

Walton-Schrader is an Alliance FH partially owned by Dan Skivolocke.

I'm going to check my Lebanon Foundry records to see if they cast any nameplates for them or see if these were cast there. That's the font style they primarily used.

While your at it, can you check and see if they cast Alliance Ambulance?

I own them both now! Found the 173 had a very negotiable price. A guy at the door said I stole it, so I feel pretty good on the deal.

173 d

Can anyone tell me what the D designates? Is it the wire coming through the base? I had this exact light on my 66 GMC rescue truck. I had to take the light off to get in the garage...it sure was easy. The roof was metal so there were no zippers to worry about.

the d would be the demountable one for the combo's in essence all the did was bout the light to a base turned upside down and run the pipe threw the center. the light would ground threw the center as you tighten the wing nut.

but really Ron if you feel bad about stealing it the just send me the difference. I think I can sleep OK even if I revive money for nothing. see what happens to you you start receiving those entitlement checks right away you expect more.
