Beautiful 1977 Chrysler Imperial Hearse

There was no such thing as a 1977 Imperial. The last year for this body style Imperial was 1975.

In 1976, the New Yorkers took on the Imperial's '74/'75 styling and the Imperial name went away. The '76-'78 New Yorkers then used that same styling. I would assume that Ed is correct on this.

So next year, when this comes up for discussion again, others will know exactly what was being discussed, and why................

It Is A 1975!

I emailed the seller and asked him for the VIN, since it does not appear in the listing. I told him that we were discussing this beautiful car on our forum and that I would like to decode the VIN. He replied quickly with the information already decoded. The VIN says that the car was built as a 1975 Imperial LeBaron 4 door hardtop. So, now we know.
