Default Professional Cars At Shook Funeral Home Car Show

PCS member Roy Garretson, his wife and family, owners of Shook Funeral Home in Clifton, NJ, hosted their fourth annual car show today. This show is held in conjunction with the Clifton Street Fair. Although the turnout of show cars was less than anticipated. there were hundreds of spectators all day long. Interestingly enough, there was one ambulance and three gorgeous limousines at the show.
PCS member Roy Garretson displayed his 1942 Fleetwood Seventy Five, future member Frank Simone showed his dark green 1941 Fleetwood Seventy Five and PCS member Lou Filardo showed his dark blue 1978 Fleetwood Seventy Five. We showed the 1968 Superior Pontiac ambulance. We had lots of interest and questions on the ambulance. No doubt, the limousines got their share of attention, too.
All in all, it was a great day with classic cars, music, food and friends!

Bill,
GREAT of you to let Young People get a photo op in your car!!!!!! If we want to encourage todays younger and youthful to take up the preservation of PRO CARS or any cars we need to encourage involvement early on. I have done a few shows and have had a photo op set for people to set in one of the limos and have their photo taken and we e mail it to them after the show.

I have an extensive telephone collection in addition to my cars. As a young person I just loved the different colors of telephones. When I was in the 6th grade a supervisor for New York Telephone took the time to explain how a dial worked and gave me a few "retired" telephones. Later a friend explained about limousines and Cadillac's and here I am.

Sure custom NJ antique plate ask and you shall pay. Gov. Christe knows how to get the extra bucks in.
