You never know whats lurking out there

Today at work, i was given a call to go to a local body shop and pick up "some old Lincoln" to take to a mechanical shop. My boss gave ME the call because he knows my love of old Lincolns and old cars in general. Well, much to my surprise, it was a 1968 Lincoln Lehmann-Peterson Limo!. The poor old girl has been sitting in the storage yard for at least 4 years and hasnt been licensed since 1977. I may have to really fight the pro car urges on this one!

2009 minus 1968 = 41 year old car. Subtract the 9 years between 1968 and the last registration of 1977, and then the 4 years that it spent in storage, and you have 28 years of its life that are unaccounted for. Makes you wonder where it spent those 28 years????
