Weller-built cars

I note that some of the photos of Weller-built cars here are from my collection. They will also appear in the book that Walt McCall and I will have available in early April.

I think this is the neatest ambulance out there. Just how much fun would it be to have this with those rotating lights on the front fenders. :my2cents:

That Ambulance is my dream car. I love the 55-56 Fords. They are beautiful cars, and even better looking as a Ambulance.:my2cents:

One of my favorites, a 1967 Abbott & Hast Mercury called the Danny Thomas Travel Luggage Car. Don't ask me why....

Henry Ford's Passing in 1947

I always thought it was too bad that Henry Ford's support staff didn't look a little harder for a Lincoln or Ford Hearse for their boss's last ride in 1947 that was in a PACKARD! The BEAUTIFUL Weller Brothers Lincoln (Cosmopolitan) shown is an early 50's vintage. PCS Charter Member and prominent Funeral Director Kenneth Howe from Missouri has an ultra pristine similar year Lincoln Cosmopolitan Limo (one of around 10 as I recall with some of them modified by Henney) that was used by the Truman and Eisenhower White House administrations. If memory serves correctly (and some times it doesn't) the only reason the regular Cosmopolitan had to be modified was to raise the roof enough (6 to 12") where the President could wear a top hat while inside the limo.
