Indy 500 ambulances

John Rabold

With your help, I have found the John Rabold photo album on Facebook.
It contains some pictures that I've never seen !
I will share this stuff soon.
Thank you again.

Not a professional car but pretty cool, even if I don't know what year it was : the Munster Koach at Indianapolis in the 60's (maybe 1966)

Need some help for 1959, so there is the 1960 Indy ambulances :

- the dark one (probably red) is a Buick made by Cotner-Bevington

- could you identify the white one ?

The coach was based on a standard wheelbase 1960 Buick LeSabre chassis and Cotner/Bevington's model name for its short wheelbase offerings was Seville. The name was also used for the original wheelbase C/B models on the Oldsmobile chassis. In 1960, This C/B offering competed directly with the Flxible Flxette.

1967 Indy Race

This photo is supposed to be from the 1967 Indy race.

Those images above from 1961 and 1962 show a 1960 Eureka-Cadillac ambulance. The white vehicle behind the ambulance in that one image is a 1960 Ford Ranch Wagon. Thanks for posting these.
