Just placed my order

I just placed my order for a new hearse for one of my funeral homes. Takes about 3 months to get but have to start sometime. The 2004 we're using will go back and sold off (not sure how that works). I will take the newer style hearse at STOWERS and have painted black. Got a new black Ford Taurus lead car on order as well. This is a 2015 Cadillac XTS KINGSLEY by Eagle Coach company.

As I've stated here many times before......haul me off in something that ugly, I'm comin' back and somebody's gettin' haunted.

No offense Richard, but that thing is UUUGGGGGLLLLYYY!!!!! WOW!!!!

I like it Richard, hope you enjoy the new coach and that it gives many years of service. Must be exciting to get something BRAND new like that.

just out of curiosity were you required to order from them or was it just what the dealer your were going threw had to offer.

Also curious Richard. If it's a NEW coach you had to order, wouldn't it have been cost effective to simply order it in black?

Compared to the funeral cars of the past, the XTS-based car is extremely aggressive looking! It makes me think of looking Darth Vader in the face right before he cuts your head off! Still, it is a fine looking car, and I love the interior. Beautiful payload area (don't know the common term.) Maybe when it's 23 years old I'll come buy it from you!

This is a new hearse I'm ordering and it will be in black. I have two hearses currently both are white. The hearse at my other funeral home is a much newer style but we're going back to black therefore it needs repainted.

Some other styles. Average cost is about $80,000.

So for a similar coach here in Canada $100,000 plus, wow guess that is the price for doing business, and why so many smaller homes rely on livery services, glad to see your doing well.

The only new hearse style I care for currently is the Platinum Coach. The roofline is level with just the right heigth over the driver and across the top, and the rear is squared off evenly. It is the most traditinal looking of any hearse being sold new IMO.
