we have got started taking the small stuff off the 53. it's always fun see how different manufactures solved the problem wit stretching a car an coming up with a decent finished project. moldings are one point that all the companies have gotten inventive. Armbruster is no exception. now that I know what they did coping they will be easy enough. I only have one complicated molding to repair. and splicing it will be the way to go. then finish off like they did.

what they did was chop the door and quarter molding of flush withe the edge of the opening and fill the end with lead. problem solved

That and the fact that every thing from the front doors back are done this way except the rear door. I'll check out the door moldings but I'm thinking they have both ends done this way. The lower quarter molding is not off yet as I'm not game to a lot of get down and roll around just yet.
