Commercial VS. Standard glass

I recently bought a scanner and I'm in the process of scanning the hundreds and hundreds of pro car pictures I have taken over the years before I went digital, the first ones taken were when I was about 13! Anyway, came across this pic of my 1966 Cadillac Calais, and 1966 Superior combo, and thought I would post it for you guys that are curious to see the difference between commercial and standard glass. (Im glad my picture taking skill has improved greatly over the years, some are pretty bad, Im sure the junk camera didnt help).

when you set them side by side like that they really show the difference. but then look at the difference in the bodies to. the doors on the superior don't fit flat but swell out in the rear. the top is widest at the B pillar and tapers to both ends. the fenders go back straight then the body swells then tapers of to the end kind of like a bottle stopper. or bowling pin. you only notice that from the front.
