Storks are back.....

Certainly feels good to have the storks back on the Lifeliner. I'm sure Dave McCamey is smiling down. We're setting up for our Memorial Day Celebration here at the funeral home/cemetery.

For those of you don't know the Story of the Storks, Dave McCamey explained at our very first meeting (the 1993 PCS International in Chatham, Ontario if memory serves) they commemorated three "catcher's mitt" births this rig handled at a raceway where he worked. I'm sure the wives remain grateful that the husbands wanted to stick around for the checkered flag! Note two of the births were boys with blue blankets, while the third was a girl with a pink blanket and a little bow on her head. I DO have a transparency of Dave pointing to them at that long-ago Meet but no way to scan it for your enjoyment at the moment. Still a clever little detail 22 years later!
