Subject: SEPT.6th, 2020: "Vintage first responder" class at Connecticut's Lime Rock Park Concours!
Date: Jun 25, 2020 8:05 AM

GOOD NEWS! Professional Car Society people still mourning the COVID-induced cancellation of our June 22nd-27th, 2020 International Meet in Albany are being offered another opportunity in the vicinity of NY's Capital Region to exhibit their vintage ambulances at Connecticut's scenic & historic Lime Rock Park racetrack on Sunday, September 6th. On this date a special Vintage First Responder class that will also welcome fire engines, police cars and "Interesting other types of public service vehicles" is going to be a prominent feature of the Sunday in the Park Concours that will be staged right on the track during Lime Rock's 38th Historic Festival weekend.

As Lime Rock's announcement declares this class is intended to "honor of all those that have done so much to keep us safe during the past few months" and will be a great opportunity to show the wider old car hobby how we're dedicated to authentically preserved, restored and presented "pro-cars," I hope fervently all PCS ambulance and hearse/ambulance "combination coach" owners who can contemplate a Labor Day Weekend trip to the northwestern Connecticut Berkshires will mark their calendars and register their rig by visiting https://limerock.com/sundayintheparkclasses and https://limerock.com/sunday-in-the-park-app. Further info is also available by e-mailing sundayinthepark@limerock.com or telephoning the track office at (860) 435-5000 from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS NEWS TO POTENTIALLY INTERESTED PCS PEOPLE I'VE NOT E-MAILED DIRECTLY!

This year's Sunday in the Park Concours will also feature classic camping trailers - "the ideal solution for social distancing," Lime Rock's press release declares - French cars and Datsun/Nissan Z-cars to honor the 240Z’s 50th anniversary. - GREGG D.
