George Strike is dead

Mr. Strike was a minority owner of the Cincinnati Reds in the 80s, and owned a piece of Hess & Eisenhardt at one point. He was 82 years old. I understand the bulk of his fortune came from One Hour Martinizing drycleaning stores.

My sincere condolences to Mr. Strike's family and friends, even if some in PCS might not think much of his tenure at Hess & Eisenhardt. Given the huge changes sweeping affecting coachbuilders in the early 1970s, its arguable no one else could have done better. At least some remarkable cars stilled rolled out the Blue Ash doors for top tier funeral directors and heads-of-state alike.
