Rick Franklin

PCS Member
I received a newsletter in the mail this week from another local car that participated in and helped out at the PNW Chapter Benefit Car Show last month. I just wanted to share what their columnist had to say: "On Easter Sunday, Rick Franklin, President of the local PCS Chapter, coordinated the annual EMS, Service Vehicle, Cadllac, Lincoln (and any other) show to benefit the NW Burn Foundation. No matter how hard Mother Nature tried, the brave souls turned out and the participants raised over $700 for the cause. Rick did another great job, Frankie Doodle Productions provided shelter, tables and chairs, F R Leonzal Enterprises sponsored the awards, Members of the Lincoln Club manned the registration area, and we even had a great DJ this year with his own Fire Truck-talk about a stage!......While we did not see the Easter Bunny, we did see many eggs filled with treats for the families and participants. We had 4 fire trucks, many hearses, Cadillacs and Lincolns, as well as a good showing from EVOOA with retired Police Vehicles. A great soggy time was had by all and THANK YOU to all from EFCC who participated"

Chapters

Congratulations, Rick, for this positive feedback as a result of your efforts. This is an example of why it is important for PCS to provide constructive encouragement and support to the chapters.

it is events like these that have gotten our style of cars recognised by the other car clubs. they show people that other people then the Goth crowd collect them. that they do deserve there notch on the collector shelf. one little bit at a time. we will be able to bring them to any car show and have a spot for them.

Congratulations Rick! It is always nice to have the main-stream car clubs, spectators and the press itself recognize our cars and their respective owners in a positive way. Keep up the great work!
