All PCS Members at the International Meet, Please Read

We had a great time in Gettysburg! It was fun to see some old friends and make new ones. There were a few striking aspects, at least to me, about the professional vehicles there.
I never saw so many horse-drawn hearses at a PCS Meet. Professional cars of the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s were well represented, as were the usual decades. It is interesting to note that there was a good number of standard wheelbase cars, including two Studebaker ambulances, a Henney Junior, a National raised-roof ambulance conversion of a Ford wagon and three Pontiac Consorts. There was a large selection of limousines and Pontiac professional cars in attendance. There was not a single Oldsmobile to be found. There were a huge number of top-quality professional cars there.

Thank you

For all of us who for whatever reason where unable to attend, I want to thank those who posted updates and photos, you made the pain of missing the show a little easier and for that a big THANK YOU,:applause:

Great coverage of the event...I have already blocked my calendar for next year. I, like others appreciate the updates you all have provided

We made it to Illinois. Lost Tony and Kim some were in Geary In. Got separated in construction and a accident. Spent about a hr on the parking lot. The missed a turn on the detours. Got to see places in shy town we had no intention off seeing and a great view of the lake from way up high. .
Here is the show field. Every thing else is on the camera I can't hook the two to gather yet.

Looks like another great event and 4 horse drawn coaches, wow. Love that green flower car for sure. Before you know it 2017 will be here.

LOVE the green Consort

All of the cars/trucks are beautiful, but I'm curious to know who owns the green Consort. It's beautiful, and reminds me of ours except for the year difference. I am actually considering painting mine next year from white to the red/burgundy color that I had on my 71 Superior combo that Jim Vowell now owns. Sorry we missed the meet. Maybe next year!

Thanks for the photos, Bill. I need that 1978/1979 Lincoln V.I.P. and a 30 year old professional driver but I would for a ride in the Golden Eagle with a snack from the stewardess!

I feel badly that I don't recall the name, but I can tell you that he also had Bill Wright's former silver 1966 Consort and I believe a 1972? Cadillac combination, all three were beautiful. But, the green 1968 Consort was stunning and my wife and I were lusting after it.
