Rocky, the 69 M-M I used to own had frame issues in the same place, and I have heard of others. Must have been a design flaw.
As mentioned before, the Flxible and Henney look very restorable, as is the M-M.

Rocky,
I may have passed you at Iola without even knowing it! I was there on Friday, and I saw the three cars you have pictured above. The most disturbing thing about the Shriner's car is the clown pictures on the side. That will give a person nightmares!
Kurt

1948 Flxible-Buick Premier that could be brought back to show condition. That is, if the interior hasn't been ruined.

The 48 Buick, still had the divider window and some of the side interior panels in the back, the floor and that stuff was ripped out of it, and yes Kurt the clown pictures I'm sure would make some people loose a little sleep. I was there from Thursday night and all day Friday. wish i knew so pcs'er were going to be there would of loved to meet up.

here is some of the pro car related stuff i found at iola, the folding cot i thought was pretty intresting, not sure what vintage on it? "any help guys"

the ferno washington was missing some stuff and some broken pieces, but i have one that needs the back piece so this will be a perfect donor.

the beacon ray was nice with a un cut skirt and it included some new gaskets in the bag.

the funeral home sign i had to get, just love collecting them when ever i can find them.

Have a lunch bucket just like that, the adrenelin rush when you see items like that for sale, and the keep your composure but its gonna be mine attitude, good shopping...

here is a funky medical chair, not quite sure what it was all used for? but the slot and the notch by your junk area, with the tray and the drain it it is kind of disturbing. The chair pumps up and down, and can be leaned front to back with the crank handle.
here is another funeral home sign and i parking sign, these were found just a week or so prior at another flea market

I hope they got enough out of the dual cowl mount fenders off the Henny to make it worth while. bet they bought the car just for them. the auto load gurney should be a easy fix. and that high skirt !& if just the ticket for your ambulance.

Rocky,
I was at Iola thur, fri, sat and saw these cars. I spoke with the owner of the Henney Olds. He said the car starts, drives and stops. He said he drove it onto the trailer. Nice project for someone. Also, what was up with the Clown Car? It was absolutely huge. I looked inside and saw nobody. I thought Clown Cars were tiny and contained dozens of clowns.
