Once you get the new fenders installed, throw those '58 Chrysler headlight doors on eBay. You should get $100 or more for them!

I remember us discussing this car before, and the fact that, with few exceptions (Eldorado Biarritz) American cars didn't have quad headlights until 1958.

You're 100% correct. Only a Cadillac Brougham had dual headlights in 57. This one did have original 57 fenders, but they were modified. The lower portion that normally has trim was filled in with sheet metal, and the headlight was cut out and a Chrysler front fender welded in. It was poorly done, you could see the seam where it was fitted. 57 fenders are much better.... Dan
