About 240 of these big cast aluminum art deco theatre marquee letters, numbers, words, and punctuation marks from 1930 came up for auction. If not a complete set then very close to it. Consignor mandated individual letter auction style, not group lot. That SUCKED - any chance of acquiring in entirety went out window. High bid took choice; first run brought $24/ea...had to wait until prices dropped to more palatable levels. Kept marking sold letters off my list and jumped on 23 letters to spell 3 words before those letters disappeared. Subsequently won remaining in next auction.
