Spray on Chrome

This video is a couple years old, and there is no follow up information since it has been posted, except for a website address, which claims to still be under development. Never the less, it still seems like a viable alternative for some parts. If I had to guess, there is probably some glitch of law (patent) or some other problem (environmental) that is keeping this form coming to the market place. I do know that there is one company in the US that is selling a similar product, but it is about $5000 just to get started. Far from being a viable alternative for the average restorer.

Found this video on the Eastwood website. There kit is $99.99 with free shipping till Christmas. I just don't have enough parts to justify the cost, but if you do, please let us know how well it works.

Thanks for the update, like you I never heard any updates since I learned of it a couple years ago. I am also curious to the results. If it works as advertised it would be well worth the money.

A model builder using a product called Alclad... A bit pricey at over $30 for a 4 ounce bottle.
